Each October, all property owners elect a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of seven owner/members. The President, Vice President and Treasurer/ Secretary of the Board are elected by the Board members following each annual election.
Property owners also vote on a budget to conduct the business of the Village. The approved budget becomes the basis of Association fees charged to each lot owner and the mandate for the Board’s financial responsibility for the coming fiscal year.
The Board of Directors has established committees for beautification, community development, finances, communications and deed restriction enforcement.
Each committee is chaired by a Board member and has additional members from the community to assist with the committee’s objectives (see the Village Committees). Property owners/residents are encouraged to participate on Village committees to help improve the quality of life for residents and add value for investors.
The Board conducts monthly meetings to discuss the activities of each of its committees and other business related to managing the affairs of the Association. Board meetings may also be attended by any interested resident or property owner with prior notice to the President. Minutes of each Board meeting are posted below.
The Board also conducts four quarterly meetings open to all residents & owners to provide updates and information of interest to property owners and to solicit input. Minutes of all quarterly meetings are posted below.
The primary responsibilities of the Board are to manage the affairs and finances of the Association, and enforce compliance with deed restrictions. Other responsibilities involve improvements which enhance the quality of life for residents and add value for all owners.
The goal of the Board is to make the Village the best that it can be for its owners and residents.
