BEAUTIFICATION (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members) The objective of this Committee is to monitor and execute maintenance and improvements to all common areas.
The Committee:
- meets monthly to discuss potential community beautification projects and updates on current situations
- monitors the general landscaping maintenance of both the park and the front entrance
- reviews, annually, the landscaping/mowing contract for the park and front entrance
- coordinates the annual Christmas lights display at the front entrance
- coordinates periodic community cleanup
- oversees the Burnt Store Village "Adopt-A-Street" program
- coordinates/implements additional beautification as suggested and approved by the Board of Directors

COMMUNICATION (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members) The Committee is responsible for disseminating information to our property owners and residents. Other committees utilize the Communications Committee to communicate information regarding their committee activities to property owners and residents.
Methods of communications are as follows:
- Door hangers are used to alert residents to upcoming events and POA meetings and to deliver our newsletter
- Signs are posted at all entrances to the Village announcing upcoming POA meetings
- Our website is used to publish information to all property owners and residents
- Our newsletter is published 3-4 times per year to inform all property owners and residents of news and information that may be of interest. The newsletter will be delivered directly to each home and via the website to all property owners. You can email communication@burntstorevillagepoa.com to send news, suggestions or questions.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members) The objective of this Committee is to create a sense of community for Burnt Store Village through social gatherings and fun events.
The Committee:
- meets monthly to discuss and plan upcoming events and activities
- recruits volunteers to coordinate and work at events
- distributes welcome packages to newcomers to the Village

COMPLIANCE - Formerly Violations (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members)

FINANCE (Consists of the Treasurer, Administrator, Association’s Accountant and other resident members)
The Committee
- meets on an as-needed basis to review monthly financial statements
- prepares the annual budget for Board approval
- oversees the management of Association funds
- monitors spending against budget
- advises the Board of any concerns regarding the association’s finances

GROUNDS (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members)
The objective of this Committee is to improve and maintain the overall condition and appearance of the Village grounds. This includes oversight of the:
- mowing contract
- removal/trimming of problem trees
- monitoring the condition of and requesting repairs to our Rim Ditch
- advising the MSBU Committee of drainage problems
- communication link between Charlotte County Utilities and the Village on the current sewer project

MSBU (Consists of a Chairman and Additional Members)
The Burnt Store Village MSBU (Municipal Service Benefit Unit):
- Was created by ordinance, through which specific services are provided.
- Maintains and improves infrastructure, including roads, sign maintenance, culvert cleaning, drainage pipes & swales.
- Revenue for the MSBU is derived by a Non-Ad Valorem (non-value) assessment determined by the MSBU Advisory Committee.
- Costs for services are equally assessed on all property within the entire benefit unit.
- All monies collected within a specific MSBU must be spent within the MSBU.
- The Burnt Store Village Board of Advisors meets quarterly with county staff.
The Burnt Store Village Street and Drainage Unit Board of Advisors are:

PARK MANAGEMENT (Consists of Chairman and Additional Members)
The Park Management Committee is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the Village’s community park and its future development. The Committee’s goal is to showcase our park as a functional symbol of the Village’s commitment to maintenance, beautification, social activity, and community spirit.
Specifically the Committee:
